The Labette Health Foundation is making great strides toward our campaign goal of $4 million, thanks to our generous donors. The first week of August, we broke ground at the north end of the hospital near the emergency department and will watch this develop into our new orthopedic hospital. This is an exciting time for our community as we prepare for our future and growth in health care. We Center Around You The Labette Health Foundation welcomes individuals, businesses and area foundations to support the important work of healing. Your tax-deductible donation will help grow our main campus and will be designated to the “Take Me to Labette Health” campaign to secure future health care in our community. In addition to the capital campaign, the Labette Health Foundation also supports local students. In 2020 our foundation awarded $24,500 in scholarship funds to 25 students seeking a medical-related career. Over the years, we have provided a total of $329,400 to students in the area—again thanks to your generous donations. We look forward to continuing our scholarship tradition for years to come.
